Summary Specifications |
Tamer, a Palestinian 11 year old boy, live in the Dheisheh refugee camp surrounded by a big wall.
Like all the children from this camp, Tamer dreams of liberating his country and plays at being a member of the resistance. His father, Nader, a former fighter, tries to protect his son from the dangers of life under Israeli occupation. But he also wants to help him fulfil his dream of seeing the sea. Situated on the other side of the wall, just 40 km away, the Mediterranean Sea is almost inaccessible to Palestinians. They need special permission to go there, which is virtually impossible to obtain. However Nader is doing everything possible to make his son’s dream a reality. Will he succeed? A different, moving look at the realities of occupation.
